Earn CPD Points: Unlocking Solar for Flats
New Seminar
Learn how our world-first technology, SolShare, complies with the latest Part L and SAP 10.2 regulations to connect solar PV directly to flats or apartments.
Meet SolShare
SolShare is one of the most simple and cost-effective measures for achieving EPC targets for retrofit or new build blocks of flats and apartments.
This RIBA-accredited course is currently available until 31st January 2025.
Course summary
This RIBA-accredited course is designed for architects, property developers, mechanical and electrical contractors, and other professionals in the built environment.
You’ll learn how:
-
Solar can add up to 15 SAP points to every flat.
-
Solar PV allocation (kWp) can be used to equalise EPCs across the building.
-
To comply with Part L solar regulations.
Course details
SAP 10.2 requires that solar PV is directly connected to each flat to gain full PV SAP points. This RIBA-accredited CPD seminar will explain how a Solar PV Sharing Device (SolShare) offers a simple, effective, and affordable solution to solving SAP and EPC disparity across the building.
Each session–available in-person or online–lasts 45 minutes, with 15 minutes for questions.
By the end of this CPD, you’ll learn:
-
How to identify apartment buildings that may benefit from a Solar PV Sharing Device.
-
How to incorporate a Solar PV Sharing Device into your project.
-
The benefits of solar power for flats: SAP boost, bill savings and reduced carbon footprint.
-

Social housing & retrofits
We work with social housing providers and local councils to decarbonise their housing stock and lift residents from fuel poverty.
How SolShare works
SolShare is a solar PV sharing device that physically splits the energy from a single rooftop solar system and divides it between multiple dwellings.
